Claude Code 2.1.160 — safer shell & build config handling
Claude Code now prompts before writing to shell startup files (.zshenv, .zlogin, .bash_login) and build-tool configs (.npmrc, .yarnrc, bunfig.toml, .bazelrc, .pre-commit-config.yaml, .devcontainer) that could execute arbitrary commands.
• Single-file grep commands now count as reads — no separate read step required before edit
• Fixed copy-on-select not writing to Windows clipboard on WSL; now uses PowerShell interop
• Restored completed agent sessions now preserve chat history instead of re-running the original prompt
